About StoreMyLink

A private link vault for the internet. No accounts, no drama, just links.

StoreMyLink was built on a simple idea: sometimes you find a link you want to save or share — and you don't want to log in, sign up, or have your activity tracked to do it. So we built a place where you can just… paste and go.

How it works

Paste any URL into the save box. We generate a unique 12-digit numeric key and store your link against it. That's it. No email address, no password, no account. Your key is the only thing that connects you to your link — so keep it safe.

When you want your link back, come to StoreMyLink, type your key, and we'll find it instantly.

Private links

Private links are invisible to everyone except whoever has the key. They don't appear in search, they don't appear in the public feed, and we don't advertise their existence. With a 12-digit numeric key, there are 1 trillion possible combinations — making your private links practically impossible to guess.

Public links

When you save a link as public, it appears in our community feed. Other users can vote it up or down, search for it by tag, and open it. Public links are a way to share interesting things with the world — great content rises to the top through community voting, just like Reddit but simpler.

You can add tags to public links to help others discover them. Be descriptive — the more specific your tags, the more people who care about that content will find it.

Sharing your key

Both private and public links have a key. If you want a friend to see your private link, just send them the 12-digit key — they type it here and your link appears. Simple, private, and no account required on their end either.

Community voting

Public links can be voted up or down once per device. Links with more upvotes rise in the rankings. You can filter public links by:

What we don't do

Content policy

StoreMyLink stores links, not content. We are not responsible for what's at the other end of a URL. However, we take illegal content seriously. If you encounter a link pointing to content that is illegal — particularly any content involving the exploitation of minors — please use the report button. We will act immediately.

Users are responsible for the links they save and share. By using StoreMyLink, you agree not to use the service to distribute links to illegal content.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026. We keep this short because there isn't much to say.

StoreMyLink is designed from the ground up with privacy in mind. We collect the bare minimum required to make the service work. We do not sell, share, or monetize personal data.

What we store

When you save a link, we store:

We do not store your IP address, device information, browser fingerprint, or any information that identifies you as a person. There are no accounts and no email addresses.

Cookies and tracking

We use browser localStorage only to remember which links you have already voted on, so we can prevent duplicate votes. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify individual users.

Public links

Links saved as public are visible to all visitors. The URL you submit as a public link may be seen by anyone who uses the site. Do not save sensitive or private URLs as public links.

Private links

Private links are accessible only via their 12-digit key. We do not publish, index, or expose private links in any way. A private link with a 12-digit key has 1 trillion possible combinations — making brute-force access practically impossible, especially with our rate limiting in place.

Third-party services

StoreMyLink uses Supabase to store link data. Supabase is a trusted open-source database platform. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy. We use Google's favicon service to display website icons next to links — this is a standard, low-risk request for publicly available image data.

Data retention

We retain link data indefinitely unless you request removal. If you wish to delete a link you saved, contact us with the 12-digit key and we will remove it promptly.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data, most data protection rights (access, portability, erasure) apply to your links rather than to you as an individual. You can request deletion of any link you saved by contacting us with the key.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of StoreMyLink after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
